How can an Autoimmune Paleo Certified Coach help you?

Did you know there is a link between eating disorders and autoimmune issues?

I believe that AIP may be a reassuring approach to eating disorder recovery because the focus is re-nourishing your body and finding your "happy body foods.

What we put into our body impacts our body chemistry, thus in turn impacting how we feel.

Did you know that inflammation in the body and brain can bring on symptoms of anxiety, depression, panic, hyperactivity, and overall feelings of unwellness?

Stress can impact the body and brain in many ways, leading to poor digestion and absorption of nutrients.

What is an AIP Coach?

A certified AIP Coach has received specialized training in autoimmune disease and strategies to help clients make dietary and lifestyle changes to promote healing and overall wellbeing.

I obtained my Autoimmune Paleo Certified Coach designation by studying with the leaders in the field: Dr. Sarah Ballantyne, Angie Alt, and Mickey Trescott.  I am honoured to share this knowledge with you to help you make decisions about enhancing your well-being through nutrition!

Why did I become an AIP Coach?

In 2015, I experienced adrenal fatigue and burnout, which lead me to study the science of nutrition on our well-being and healing.  I was lead to the work of Dr. Sarah Ballantyne, a specialist who developed the Autoimmune Paleo approach to healing autoimmune disease.

I found the change in diet to lead to improved mental clarity, increased energy, and overall healing. I felt better in my 40’s than I did in my 20’s! I continue to study nutritional approaches to enhance mental well-being and heal burnout as well as address women’s hormonal issues and eating disorders.
